To welcome the summer season this year, Akomeya Shokudo stores in Shibuya and Kagurazaka have added some adults-only kakigori options to their menu. Four flavored shaved ice options are recommended to be paired with different liqueurs, and the combinations sound delicious. Guests can choose from the following options:

Strawberry milk kakigori + strawberry liqueur

Yakushima black tea kakigori + rum and raisin liqueur

Setouchi lemon and mint kakigori + limoncello liqueur

Mandarin kakigori + mandarin liqueur
Each kakigori is priced at ¥1400, with the flavored liqueurs charged at an additional ¥300. If you need something to take the edge off this summer's heat and humidity, this might be just the ticket.
