Muromachi is a great antique shop in the heart of Tokyo. Filled with intricate and beautiful chinaware and textiles, the items on display include contemporary clothing and dishes while others are much older. Its specialty is its antique Imari porcelain from Arita in northwestern Kyushu, as well as Edo hand towels and Japanese antique dolls. It is just moments from Tokyo Skytree, in a neighborhood that blends old and new. The owners were welcoming and friendly, and could also speak English if you have any questions.
