Sakura Season at Wadabori Park

Enjoy spring's beauty at this lesser-known Tokyo gem

Tokyo is blessed with a range of beautiful spots to enjoy cherry blossom season, including well-known destinations like Ueno Park and the Meguro River. There are numerous lesser-known places where you can enjoy them, too, and one of them is Wadabori Park in Suginami.

At the park, there are hundreds of cherry trees planted along a 4 kilometer-long walking path that follows the Zenpukuji River. There are plenty of other sights to enjoy there, too, including a fishing pond and a total of twelve bridges. As for the sakura, the best time to plan your visit to catch the trees in full bloom is typically from late March through until early April.

Getting there

Wadabori Park is located approximately 15 minutes on foot from Nishi-eifuku Station, served by the Keio Inokashira Line.

For those who opt to drive, paid parking is available at the venue. The fee is 200 yen for the first hour, and then 100 yen for every 30 minutes thereafter.
