There is a wonderful little area near the Kintai Bridge in Iwakuni called Momijidani Park. In the fall, it's a stunning vision of reds, oranges, and yellows, with a little bit of green mixed in. This park is often overlooked, but it is definitely worth adding to your itinerary the next time you visit the Iwakuni area.

So happy to view the fall colors in Yamaguchi even though I can't visit there :)
