Your Neighborhood Living Room

Komeda's commitment to relaxation

Word spread as soon as construction started along Route 347 in Iruma City. The famous coffee shop from Nagoya is coming! Friends told me that the coffee was good, the food reasonably priced, and that they encourage customers to stay as long as they want, even if they just purchase a single cup of coffee. I looked forward to the opening, with a touch of skepticism. But when we finally had the chance to drop by, I was pleasantly surprised. While Japanese service is generally impeccable, take what you know to the next level and add a lot of cheer and friendliness – that's Komeda Coffee's staff for you.

For breakfast—which generously extends till 11am—customers get complimentary toast and an egg or Nagoya-style sweet bean paste with any coffee purchased. I don't know of any other coffee shop that does that. Everything about Komeda Coffee communicates: "Please stay as long as you want and relax. This is your neighborhood living room."

Getting there

There are no train stations near this branch of Komeda Coffee. It is best accessed by car. As such, there are plenty of parking spaces available.
