Restaurant Mumbai in Kudanshita

Spicy tastes of India

Between Nippon Budokan and Yasukuni Shinto Shrine, and just a stone's throw from the nearby Indian Embassy, is Mumbai restaurant. It is a chain restaurant named after India's most populous city of Mumbai (formerly Bombay).

Usually I always choose my favorite butter chicken curry, which tastes milder due to the cream incorporated into the recipe. In the end, this time I chose a lunch set with two kinds of curry: prawn and mushroom curry and eggplant and chicken curry.

I was a bit uncertain about my choice and felt a pang of regret as soon as I tried the eggplant curry. It was rather hot! Luckily, the prawn and mushroom curry was creamy and sweet.
