This avenue in Kure which leads to both the Art Museum and the Irifuneyama Memorial Museum has been deemed one of Japan's "One hundred most beautiful streets". This is one of only two in Hiroshima Prefecture, the other being Peace Boulevard in Hiroshima City. There are 17 sculptures of varying themes and a variety of trees line the street providing a shaded and scenic walk.
