Tokyo Station's renovated look has been attracting quite some crowds for the architectural beauty which was restored in 2012. With its lit-up interior the station gets a rather mystic look on a snowy day like this, and this photo story is to capture this rare view of the station in a completely white setup. The station looks equally beautiful on a regular day too of course.

Tokyo Station Covered in Snow
Beautiful architecture and mystic weather

Tokyo Station on a snowy day—looks rather mystic.
The snowfalls in 2013 and 2014 have been heavy enough that the snow could accumulate on the top of the station building—a snow cap!
The surroundings of the station attracted many photographers on the day, as it was indeed quite a rare sight.
Due to the heavy snowfall that day the city basically was at a standstill. So the usually busy station looked rather deserted, with very few people venturing out, and there was hardly any traffic.
Some activity at the south entrance of Tokyo Station, as some buses kept running despite the bad weather.

Oh, I remember the snow in February 2014! I actually had plane tickets to go to the Sapporo Snow Festival that weekend, which ended up getting canceled because of the crazy Tokyo snow!
