Gyoda City is located in northern Saitama. It developed as a castle town around Oshi Castle built in 1490. Nine large ancient tombs built before the 7th century remain in this pastoral Sakitama area. Gyoda Castle, which was constructed nearly 500 years ago and also known as NOBO NO SHIRO (The Floating Castle).
